CALLING ALL ENTREPRENEURS!  

Do you have an off-the-chart business idea that you have been thinking through. Are you wondering how can you get your idea in front of Angel Investors and Venture Capital firms to see if it will stick? TiE’s Texas Funding Forum is on Nov11th. A handful of Angel Investors, Bankers, Lawyers and VCs are gearing up to listen to the top business pitches.

• Early stage entrepreneurs looking to get a real time feedback on strategy, vision from leading investors

• Early stage entrepreneurs looking for tools & the means to position your product/service in market

If you are an entrepreneur with a new business idea or an early stage start up this forum is an ideal place to meet investors in an intimate setting. Presentations will be done in a small group setting to facilitate interaction and networking.

  IS THERE A FEE TO APPLY?

There is no fee if you are already a member of TiE. Non member companies selected to present will need to become members of TIE Austin, which can be accomplished by paying ONLY $100 fee. This fee covers admission to the event for two company representatives and TiE membership for one year.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Executive summaries will be reviewed by a small committee. Finalists will be notified by TiE by Oct 28th 2009 and those selected will be given an opportunity make a pitch to a team of Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors, Bankers at the Funding Forum event on November 11th, 2009. Presenters will be required to put together a business plan presentation and elevator pitch. A TiE mentor will be assigned to you before the event to answer any questions you have and provide you with assistance.

Note: This event will have limited attendance. For attendees this is a great opportunity to network with some of the best in the Texas entrepreneurial community, to understand how a pitch is made and what investors are looking for. Attendee registration opens on Oct 26th 2009.
